He’d been glad when Maggie accepted his invitation to the charity gala.  Obviously they didn’t come together.  He had his date and she’d come with a tall nice-looking guy.  Yet somehow Michael and Maggie had ended up together on the dance floor.  She intrigued him, and at the same time left him vaguely uncomfortable.  He’d need to be careful not to give her the wrong idea.
