What’s the story behind your latest book?

Rannigan’s Redemption is a romantic drama about Michael Rannigan, a hotshot Manhattan attorney, and Maggie Flynn, the recent law school grad he hires to join his elite high-profile defense practice.

Professionally, Michael is smart enough to surround himself with great legal minds. They do all the leg-work and he breezes in and saves the day for their very wealthy, very grateful clients. Privately, Michael is an inveterate player. As one reviewer put it, “his commitment issues have commitment issues.”

Maggie had a completely different plan for her career after graduation, but when she spies Michael at a job fair, she can’t resist interviewing with him. She’s studied his cases and she knows he’s one of the best. But not lost on her are the facts that he’s charming, handsome, and sexy as hell.

Michael prefers to date Barbie look-alikes with significantly lower IQs than Maggie’s. Still, he’s drawn to her in an unnervingly undeniable way.

What motivated you to become an indie author?

I wrote my first novel, Luke & Bella: Two Streets Over a chapter at a time, posting them online just for kicks. Much to my surprise, people were reading the chapters and clamoring for more. When the story was finished, and I’d posted it twice in its entirety, I thought maybe it would be interesting to publish the whole thing as a book and see what happened.
