Detective Hayden Thursday has worked homicide for two years, and she worked patrol before that, and never in all her years of service to Waldorf Borough in the greater Metro area has she had a case like this one.

Detectives Thursday and Ace have multiple victims with nothing in common, or so it appears.  It turns out finding the killer is just the start of solving the problem, and solving the mystery won’t save everyone.
