Because I Couldn’t Resist…

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame had its annual induction ceremony earlier this month and some great bands and artists were honored that night.  Included in this year’s roundup were Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, Journey, ELO, Yes, Joan Baez, and Nile Rodgers.

Tonight, HBO is airing the special event and I can’t wait.  I wrote a little snippet about the show on my other (more vanilla) blog, and I added a track from ELO.  But here, I thought a sexier little song was in order.  Enjoy Journey, with Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’.

Just A FanGirl At Heart

My sweet and I were enjoying a nice holiday off together today and we decided to run a few errands.  While shopping for some paint at Home Depot, I ran face to face into James Patterson.

I’d love to say that I said something even remotely articulate.  The truth, however, is that I turned into a mute, googly-eyed fangirl.  He used my bout of paralysis to make his escape but I’m pretty sure we shared a moment.

Maybe it was an “Oh, boy, call security” moment, but still…

20151208_194941-1All in all, it’s been a great release day for Rannigan’s Redemption.  I mean, there was the day from hell at my day job.  But ignoring that, a few copies have sold, it’s gotten some amazingly positive reviews, and I’ve had huge support from many of you.  I can’t thank you enough.  You all mean the world to me.

And I even received launch day flowers from my biggest fan, my Sir.

Yep.  I’m a lucky girl.
