It was a lonely autumn evening of 2015 when the nagging thought of trying my hand in self-publishing started crawling through my brain. My first novella, Stroker Ace, has been part of an anthology dedicated to Summer Songs. I could fix a cover and publish it the very same evening and see what would happen. How difficult could it possibly be?
Well, my first cover was cringe-worthy, I didn’t have a clue of the importance of keywords and categories. I didn’t even know I was supposed to enter my name as a Contributor so my book went live under a different name. I can’t say I made a royal mess but I came pretty close to it.
A lot of people helped me improve, as a writer, cover designer and self-publisher. I still have a lot to learn and I’m just as clueless in other aspects. However, I can proudly say…

Awww, I’m so sorry I didn’t post sooner. It was so uneventful, it was kind of a let-down, which is silly to say. But I think others up the coast fared much worse than we did. Still, I’d much rather be safe than sorry.
